Spotimote turns your phone in a remote control for Spotify. With it, you can control Spotify from anywhere in the house.
It's ideal for parties, lazy days or if you have a media center tucked away in a closet.

Spotimote communicates with the Spotimote server component over Wifi. Make sure your phone and your computer are connected on the same wifi network to establish the connection.
After the installation of the Spotimote server component, when you launch it for the first time, you may be prompted by the Windows Firewall. You have to authorize the server component to access the network or it won't be able to communicate with your phone/tablet.
About the permissions, the "READ PHONE STATUS AND IDENTITY" permission is required to let spotimote automatically pause the music when an incoming call is received on the phone.
This product uses a SPOTIFY API but is not endorsed, certified or otherwise approved in any way by Spotify. Spotify is the registered trade mark of the Spotify Group.

I am still in the 30 day trial for Spotify, and although Spotify has issues that are frustrating, Spotimote works well! The developer is directly on top of things. I had an issue and within a day he contacted me 4 times to make sure everything was working

This does everything you could ever want from a spotify remote. Love the notification controls, so simple to just skip rather than having to go into the app. A few improvements would be that I can't figure out how to get rid of the notification at the t

I was looking around for such a tool for a long time. The remote allows you to manage spotify on your desktop. My Intel NUC acts as a media centre connected to 55" screen. Spotimote enables you to leave the screen of but still listen to your favorite musi

This app has always worked perfectly for me and the latest versions have a better looking design than the earlier versions
