After using the tribune and suntimes apps, I was unexpectedly pleased to find the herald's so much superior. It blows the others away. The suntimes looks particularly amateurish next to this and the tribes is now subscription only.

The app is very slow to open since changing the format a few months. Now the app takes forever to load and most of the time it does a "force close" because it takes so long. Very disappointing!

I used to have the Tribune app and I used to get my news that way, but ever since they changed over to their new site, I decided to download the Daily Herald. Much to my surprise The Herald is a much better read and covers more of my areas and interests.
