For some reason, Lookout flags this as a security threat. Why? I would love to use the app, but not at the expense of privacy.

Very good app but beyond the thumbnail next to the article titles no images or figures are supported by the app, which is very frustrating

A pretty good app overall. A useful improvement would be to make diagrams expandable as they are sometimes too small to read easily, and a nicer way to read the magazine would be to format the layout to match that of the print edition.

Installed and then paid £2.99 for a magazine. Since then the app freezes every time I try to open it. Software on my phone is all up to date... EDIT... After u switched the phone off and back on it sorted the problem out. I'm happy with the magazine now.

Crashes on every open on my LG g2. The second time it opens is fine. When the device rotates, the app forgets where I was up to. It never remembers what article I was reading between sessions either. This is basic stuff that should be right in all readin

Easy to read on the phone. My only gripes are not being able to zoom on pictures and graphs so they're likely illegible and lack of an in built memory of where you last read from. Otherwise great and the material is always gold

This is the perfect way to use New Scientist, I have always been fascinated by New Scientist in its paper format but hated all those stored magazines, and of course having to eventually let them go. Problem now solved.

So I can see back issues via the web but not via the tablet app - where's the sense to that? It's also painfully slow and doesn't zoom. Phoning customer service to cancel my subscription - this is just rubbish.

I have subscribed to paper version for probably 10 years but have to pay extra for app use. Very disappointed as I struggle with written print size.

Unfortunately the app suffers from a huge problem, the largest text size is just too small. I brought one issue to try and it's so uncomfortable to read that I will have uninstall the app. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to reading NS on my tab

Given the many things that can make or break an app, it's ironic that my main complaint is something that is well known in human-computer interaction: older users need larger fonts. There is no font offered by this app than is bigger than about 8pt. Compa
