Because while the content remains high quality, the app has improved tremendously. Multimedia features work, the transitions between articles are smooth, and there's even a WP-intent to launch articles in app. Makes me happy to have been and remain a digital subscriber to the nation's top news outlet on politics.

Piece of junk. This is the best Jeff Bezos can do? The claim of a 4.4 rating is another dubious claim.

Articles in the app can be days or weeks old. The only way to read all of the current day's content is the "print edition" which very often fails to load. The web based print edition isn't easy to navigate and read on a tablet. They should look at Baltimore's Olive solution for their e-edition

Wrong articles come up and the article jumps while scrolling.

This app used to load fine, but now it just hangs as soon as I try to launch. Is there a way to turn off auto download of today's paper?
