"Create your own magazine"

Zite is a free personalized magazine that learns what you like and gets smarter every time you use it

Zite is a magazine that suits with you. It tracks your interests from your GReader account or Twitter profile. There's no need to create a Zite account (recommendable though), but you'll have to grant access to that accounts if you want to fully enjoy it. After tracking your accounts, Zite will show a list of topics that you can choose among. Mark the ones you're interested in and you'll get articles related to that topics from thousands of reliable sources. Bear in mind that it doesn't integrate your nor your GReader account subscriptions nor your Twitter timeline. You can select topics, not the sources.

However, Zite allows you to like/unlike articles. This info will be included in the algorithm to set your preferences. Thus, the more you read and like article, the most accurate it will become. All your topics will be displayed on a top bar. You can navigate through them just swiping left or right. Scroll down/up to check articles' list of each category. Tap on the one you're interested in, read it on an optimized reading-view, thumb up/down or share it. You can also read the article open your browser or change app font size.

The main catch of this kind of magazines is that you cannot choose the sources, just the topics. Thus, it's not a RSS-like reader. Although the algorithm works for us, it would be great to choose manually what we want to read.

No complaints regarding interface: good-looking layout, smoothly performance and ease of use. High recommendable.

Zite has introduced me to too many great stories, writers, and sites that I know follow regularly to count. I will continue to use it obsessively up until the day they shut it down. Hopefully, someone will create an alternative as good. For the life of m

Zite looks great on iOS devices. Not nearly as attractive or useful on Android.

It always brings up interesting articles. My only complaint is that the reader needs to be able to rotate.
