Appy Geek is a news app focused on web and tech
Do you want to stay up to date on Geek culture? Appy Geek will get you wired. There's no need to create an account. Just launch it and you'll find a grid of channels about topics you're interested in. You can personalize that grid by choosing topics from the list of hots topics, featured or last added. You can also seek them from the search bar or through the word cloud
Of course, all topics are tech-related: Android, Google, Smartphone, Apple, Samsung, etc.
Appy Geek offers a clear and user-friendly interface with an easy-reading view. Access to the articles is quite fast. However, it takes a bit to load the list of articles when you tap on a topic. It's probably due to the flipboard-like effects.
It must be said that it's one of the cutest, regarding scenery, flipping and effects. Likewise, even though you cannot set the resources (it's not a RSS reader), it takes news from reliable resources like AppZapp, InTo Mobile, Techweekeurope, etc.
Set custom push notifications on your favorite topics and never miss important news. One of the features we like most is the "mood": you can express your mood on any topic and read articles with the most reactions. There are up to 5 different moods. You can also share articles via e-mail, Twitter, Facebook, G+ or any other sharing resource installed on your device.

Lovely app - great for the semi-literate tech people like me, as well as all those Geeks who lap up everything on offer!
The best app for tech news
It will close out almost every time I select a topic. Never used to do this before. Very disappointing
