Deer Reader is an easy and lightweight Google Reader client, with Sophie Reader as first base, evolved to following features:

There's not even a way to manually refresh my feeds. If there is, it's not obvious. I set it to auto sync when I launch the app and that doesn't work either. I have no idea what the issue is. Please contact me via G+. Edit: 3* for good communication. Wa

I'm not a fan at all of the background on the left swipe list. It would be nice if it could be removed/changed to something less busy.

The UI is great..however the app fails to sync with my reader feeds with whatever combination of sync frequency and period I tried...giving this app a pass till the time sync issue really gets fixed and am sticking with my current reader of choice for now
