I must admit it's not perfect but it is very good. The search isn't amazing but apart from that I really like it. Does everything I need in a clear and reasonably uncluttered way.

Moving to pocket cast because DC no longer works for me.

I like this app, it's reliable and trends to work flawlessly. One thing I'd like to see now that kitkat and beyond don't let apps write to the SD card is the ability to move the app to the SD card, assuming the podcasts can be stored on the SD card that way.

Constantly starts up when not wanted (like when I start my blue-tooth connected car), constantly complains via notifications that other apps requested audio. Come devs, you can do better.

Well worth the money. Loving the adjustable playback speed and the ability to play audio only for video podcasts.

And has the features I need. Occasional crashes... about twice a month under heavy use.

Search is horrible. Even before the "bug." Every week there's a needless design change and no added functionality. Other apps do it better and leaner.

It's been months since I've reported the bug that when you watch the last video in a video podcast the filter does not filter out the podcast from the list , making it look like you have more videos to listen to or watch. I have to keep manually refreshing the filter to "New and in progress." It's so annoying.

I tried others but none have the features of DoggCatcher.

The best podcast app.

Seemed too much at first, but now that I have the feeds set up properly I absolutely love it.

Having recently gotten hooked on podcasts, I set out to find a flexible and feature-rich podcatcher that would work the way I wanted it to work. Pocket Casts came close, but it's ability to manage off-line content was abysmal. While Doggcatcher isn't perfect in that regard, it's good enough and gives me what I need for the hundreds of previously downloaded but unplayed podcasts already on my phone
