Used this app for over a year. Frequently has extended periods of time where content isn't updated for as long as a week. It's pretty useless. Uninstalled.

I just received email from support saying new version was updated for previous app crashing! I uninstalled and reinstalled app AND STILL SAME PROBLEM! APP DOES NOT FUNCTION!

The printed version IS far better. !! For being in the heart of "silicon valley" & with all the available technology you would think the news would be kept current under all headings.... and what's with sports and scores dominating all categories? ??!!! I

The SJ Mercury News app presents the headlines in a concise and uncluttered way allowing one to quickly and efficiently browse the news. No flamboyant text or photos forcing you to scroll and scroll through pages of clutter. At least the SJMN embraces

Frequently only older (days old) articles are displayed, instead of the most recent. For example, I see 4 day old articles in the breaking news section! Refresh doesn't help.
