Shrewsbury is the county town of Shropshire, in the West Midlands region of England. The River Severn curls right around the town centre in a succession of walks leading to the famous Quarry Park (home each year to the Shrewsbury Flower Show), it is home to some 96,000 inhabitants, and is the county town and headquarters of Shropshire Council.
