We're also home to Radiolab, the Peabody Award-winning show that blurs the boundaries among science, philosophy and the human experience, and Freakonomics Radio, the popular podcast that explores "the hidden side of everything."

Other shows you'll find here include All Things Considered, Ask Me Another, Car Talk, Fishko Files, Food Fridays, Fresh Air, Here's the Thing With Alex Baldwin, Last Chance Foods, Morning Edition, Marketplace, Money Talking, Movie Date, New Tech City, On Being, On Point, Radio Rookies, Radiolab, Selected Shorts, Studio 360 , This American Life and The World.

This app always crashes. I find it almost impossible to follow a story when I have to constantly keep reloading and finding the timestamp.

Why isn't there a feature to close this app? Even when I try to force close it, it stays open. It's very frustrating.

While the app still works after the Lollipop upgrade, you can't turn it off :-( It continues to take up valuable memory and space on the notification bar even if you back out of it. You literally have to go into app management and stop the app (or reboot). It's ridiculous to miss such a basic function; don't you guys test these things?

Every time I try to use this app it plays for a few seconds then just stops. Then I have to close out of the app, open it back up, then try again. It usually works for 20 minutes or so then it just stops again. Or whenever I try playing a new podcast. It's very annoying so I'll probably delete it soon.

I've really enjoyed this app in the past, but for the past week or so it's been impossible to use. I can't access any shows through the directory or via starred shows, so have been unable to check for new episodes or download them. Just before this final straw I was able to save them for offline listening, but then they would suddenly disappear hours later. Before this massive failure in service t

Like the app, but it keeps crashing on my Moto Droid Turbo (s/w 4.4.4). Once I start the audio, it plays but I still have a play button instead of a pause. When I press play, it force closes. I cannot fast fwd, rewind or pause, i can only play if I do it nonstop from start to finish and don't touch the app. Please fix

Thought the last Android version was bad but this current update makes that last version seem as stable as Gibraltar by comparison. MULTIPLE crashes and app turnoffs (without even the dubious benefit of a crash report) with every use have turned the experience of WNYC into one of particular unpleasantness. Nice work, he added sarcastically.
