This app is completely unusable on my Galaxy S5. I can't get through any segment without it crashing. They just updated the app and it's still absolutely useless.

Slow, buggy, constant stopping midstream, uninstalled after just a couple of hours.

The app has no off switch. You must either force the app to stop (a multiple step process) or restart the phone altogether. If you are moving and the WiFi signal switches from one source to another the current WNYC announcement thanking who ever will interupt the programming. Today I had to listen the same "tripit" "ADVERTISMENT" a half dozen times in a 15 minute timespan. The app switches the lis

I love WNYC, but this app isn't doing the trick. I can't "save" podcasts to listen to them offline, even after they swear to have downloaded to my device over Wi-Fi. The app is so slow that even something as basic as scrolling can become a big project

I love the app--or I would if it worked right. It crashes so frequently that there are times I just give up and switch to listening to music. Sometimes I get the "unfortunately WNYC has stopped working" with an option to submit a report, other times, it simply stops. This started after an update a few months ago. Nothing's changed since the most recent update It frequently stops when I try to sw

I love all things NPR, but this app is very glitchy . some buttons are off, menus and pages take too long to load. It needs some TLC.

The only control on the podcast left is the play and pause button. This wouldn't be a problem, except that the audio stops randomly in the middle of the podcast and I have to re-listen to the entire thing to resume my place. I would like to know if there is a workaround for this issue or if it is a problem on my phone.

This would be a great app except that it doesn't close successfully and stays on in my taskbar but does not resume when you go back to it- it freezes. They should fix this major bug

I love radiolab but am never listening to NPR when the show plays. So, I downloaded the app and I love that I can listen to radiolab at anytime! However, the app is horrible! Constantly crashes. Like crashes 2 or 3 times within 30 minutes. I'm SO TIRED of sending the "report crash" info.

No settings menu. No way to sort list of saved audio. No way to make it play only saved audio, except by putting phone into airplane mode. (Wish I'd known that before I burned up half my monthly data plan on a one day car trip.) No way to mark "Discover" articles for saved-audio file. I love WNYC radio but this app is an ice-pick to the ear drums.

I think my subject line says it all. I'm on an older device but a device with a very updated operating system. They could really improve this app but I'm sure the iPhone version gets more love. If i was right wing nut I'd accuse them of elitism.
