Average users don't expect to have high-end professional tools for editing their amateur pictures. It's enough to apply some cute effects and frames. However, and above all, what matters for those apps that claim to cover that need is to be simple, user-friendly.
BeFunky seems to fulfill these two parameters: UI, simplicity and cool editing tools. Let's zoom on them. As usual, you can take pictures from your gallery or from the camera. Once loaded, a top bar with the editing tools and a bottom bar with the content of each category show up (the picture in the middle). Thus, you can adjust basic editing options like brightness, contrast, rotate or crop. You can also apply claimed effects like LomoArt, Cross Process, Gitty HDR, Retro, Vintage... and many other. There are up to 20. Next step, applying frames: vignette, basic border, rounded corners, polaroid... up to 18 frames available.
Once done, you can save your creation on your SDcard or share it through any of the sharing resources installed in your device.
