DSLR Controller was the first and remains the best app to fully control your Canon EOS DSLR from your Android device, through USB cable or Wi-Fi connection. No computer or laptop required, no root required, only a compatible mobile device, a compatible camera, and if connecting through USB, the right cable.

We strongly suggest you read up on the website ( ) about what DSLR Controller can do, how it works, and how to use it, before purchasing. The website contains a wealth of information you should know before using.

Not all devices are compatible, especially if you want to use a USB connection. For a free app you can use to test compatibility, see the "Remote Release" app ( ). If you need a refund, go to our website ( ) and follow the instructions in the FAQ entry. We cannot process refunds through email.

Usage notes, feature lists, device compatibility lists, changelogs, FAQs, can all be found on our website:

Most questions should go to the support and discussion thread at

I tried running this app with my Canon 7d and 5D Mll on both my HTC M8 and a LG G pad 7 and nothing... it just says that the camera can't be found over USB or Wi-Fi...

Bought this to work on my chromebook, it does not and states that it is my chromebooks fault not the apps (even though the app should not be available to buy from your chromebook). I now cannot even get my money back!

It kept saying no camera connected. I'm using a LG V20 & canon ups and I can't get it to work unfortunately, I'd like a refund unless someone can help me to get it working.

I could not get it to run on my Galaxy S7. Playstore, when, attempting a refund, told me that it could not process my request at this time. Upon further reading, I found that the author of this software could take up to a month to process a refund. I am not comfortable with my experience so far.
