OCF Toolkit

The Off Camera Flash (OCF) Toolkit is a tool for professional photographers to quickly see and modify manual settings for using off camera flash. The first release includes an array of Canon and Nikon flashes as options.

The permissions for Network State and Internet access are needed because the Toolkit is ad-supported and needs internet connection for ad delivery.

NOTE: The OCF Toolkit is not an app for your phone's camera.

The OCF Toolkit includes an incident/ambient light-meter and a flash power calculator.

The incident light-meter uses your phone's built in light sensor (where available) to calculate a correct exposure for the ambient conditions. Because of the potential inaccuracy of phone sensors, use caution. There is also included a calibration option to customize the readings for your phone's sensor. Manual scene setting options are available in the settings.

The Flash Calculator portion of the app is designed to give you the manual settings based on the flash chosen. Both Canon and Nikon flash model information is available at launch with more brands coming in future releases.
