Choose and save a frame from a video

Picosa is a simple yet extremely useful app. Choose any video from your galley or shoot a new one and then pick any frame to save it as a picture.

To do so, lay the video and stop it at the point you like most, then correct forward or backward as many fractions of second as you need. Finally, you can share your result on Facebook. User interface is plainly simple and there isn't much more to be told. Of course we may ask for more sharing options, filters to focus or unfocus, some editing options at least to crop the image; but in the end this app does what it promises: if you have a video and need to take a screenshot of it, here's a great choice.

Later, if you feel creative, you can explore further uses. For example, you can shoot a long video of your baby/dog/squirrel and then choose the best frame instead of shooting umpteen bad pics. As this app is so lightweighted (less than 250k) there's no reason to not have it installed.
