Streamzoo is a photo/video sharing social network

A picture is worth a thousand words. A video, a million. It seems that there's no better way to share your moments and explore the World but with media files. If you take that idea and turn into a social platform, then you get Streamzoo.

Streamzoo is (another) media sharing social network. However, it comes with two added-value features: the chance to share also video files and the centrality of hashtags as tool for creating categories and finding content.

What's more, Streamzoo has been set in a good-looking layout: if you have ever sign up a photo sharing social app, it would look similar to you (grid-view, bottom bar to take pictures and navigate through the app). There are 4 basic tabs: popular, streams (to discover new hashtags), badges (you get badges for uploading photos to your favorite streams: foodie, beach bum, sky walker... dozens of them) and, finally, leaderboard which shows a ranking of users (day, week, month). This ranking is based on points that users get as they upload photos and videos, like and comment them, get new badges, etc. A gamified social network.

Before sharing your photos you can edit then, apply filters (up to 18), frames (up to 15) and crop shapes. You can also set saturation, brightness and contrast. Once done upload your master pieces to Streamzoo and share them to your social media (Twitter, Facebook, G+, Tumblr and Flickr). Finally, the app is backed for full-featured web experience.

In conclusion: one of the most complete photo/video social network we've ever tried. The only catch: its user' base cannot compete with other well-known photo sharing social networks (so far). Social network + photo/video edition + badges + online leaderboards (gamification) + social media integration + web version = Streamzoo. Highly recommendable.
