combined strokes and semicursive are both readily recognized very well, the lookup function is also useful

The strongest feature that sold me was its Kanji hand recognition. You can draw the Kanji on the screen and it will recognize the characters

Simply the best kanji input and the only one. Plus is updated regularly. Turns your Android smartphone/tablet into a denshi jisho :) and thanks for knocking down the price!

I am studying Japanese, and as a begginer, when I try to read the news, lyrics, or games, I come across many kanji without ofurigana. With this software, I am able to draw any kanji! I use it for English input as well. It's very fast, responsive and cool.

Closest you will get to WinMo-style Japanese handwriting on Android. Compares favorably to non-IME Kanji Recognizer. This is fast (even on my first-gen Galaxy Tab on stock Gingerbread, 350MB RAM!) and accurate, also gets kanji/hiragana/katakana/English.
