Agenda Widget for Android
1,000,000 - 5,000,000 downloads
- Lots of calendars supported
- Highly customizable
- 15 different size widgets
- UI could be improved
Android Agenda Widget is a highly customizable Agenda that integrates your Gmail calendars
First off, this is one of the calendars with greatest amount of screen widgets: up to 15. Almost all sizes possibles on Android home screen. What's more, it's one of the most highly customizable calendars: you can fully set the appearance to your liking. Font color, background color or transparency, frame borders, date format, wallpaper and lots (and we really mean lots) of customizable features.
Regarding data source, you can import calendars from "My Calendar", your different Gmail accounts calendars, national day-off calendar, ActiveSync. It also integrates GTasks, SSI gTasks or Astrid. You can also import/export dates from files.
You can also set events alarms at your whim: vibrate, tone, vibrate, time... whatever! What's more, you can set operations when you tap on the different buttons of the widget. There's no enough sheet to list the amount of customizable features. It's just insane.
The UI could be improved though. Although there are lots of appearance options, it's still looking a bit shabby.
Android Agenda Widget has been developed by "Everybody All The Time", a settled Android app developer who has launched half dozen apps on the market with remarkably success.
This is the free version of the application which is fully functional, however at the moment it does not receive feature updates (more information: http://www.androidagendawidget.com/free-version-going-into-stasis) unless you are using Android version 4 or greater which started out with Agenda Widget 2.0
The free version still gets bug fixes and will have some minor changes to the settings.
Agenda Widget Plus gets you:
A grid view
Support for UTD
New default theme
Calendar color override
Easier to make separate widgets
For a full list of differences between free and plus is check the website http://www.androidagendawidget.com/upgrade
More about the free version:
Calendar application support:
- Google including Activesync
- Motorola Droid corporate calendar application(now obsolete)
- Touchdown exchange
Tasks application support:
- SSI gTasks
- Dato GTask
- Google Task Organizer (Full version)
- Got To Do (Full version))
Scrolling is available with ADW Launcher, Launcher Pro, Go Launcher, Xperia Arv launcher and others.
Zeam has dropped scrolling launcher support, not my fault :P

Android 4.2 users:
- Added lockscreen widget

- Sorry, too many updates in the last 2 days. This one IS important (fixed the indefinite loading bug)
Jellybean update may:
- data sources
- tap clear calendars
- set calendars
- select your calendars again
See site for more details
... but KitKat appears to have made this very useful and well-regarded app non-functional. Abandonware? Update: switching off scrolling helps but widget is then limited in what appointments it can display. Will purchase if the developer comes back online
Doesnt seem to be working on s5. Loved it on my s3
What happened? No longer works.
Been using for probably a year now. Highly customizable, always functions perfectly for me. Still looks great & readable even when I'm using very small widget size. Exactly what I need, highly recommend! Would love ability to see more than two Google cale
I have used this widget reliably for a long time in conjunction with Dato gtasks. My widget now fails to display any tasks or calendar entries on my HTC One. Fingers crossed this is fixed soon so I can bump up to 5 stars. To dev: seems related to scrollin
This is the best app for keeping all of your tasks and calender in one place. I glance at my phone and I have the days activities right there.... I paid for it and love it.
Great app that needs to be updated to work with Android 4.4
