"One device to rule them all"

All in One Remote is an RC app which turns your Android into an universal control

Our life is full of devices remotely controlled. What if an app could help us to merge all of them in one? This app can do it. It allows you to connect devices by means of both, WiFi and Bluetooth. Likewise, it supports Linux and Windows versions for the desktop client (besides the app you'll have to download it from http://www.hishambakr.com). Bear in mind that you need Java SE Runtime Environment 1.6 or higher and some sort of wireless connection.

Once both devices are connected, you can use your Android as remote control for several apps. For example, you can use it as touch-screen mouse control with both multi-touch and drag support. You can also use it as keyboard, powerpoint control, or control PC media applications like VLC, WMP, Winamp... You can also turn it into a gamepad (with 8 buttons, joystick and multi-touch support). It can be used to play multiplayer using different mobile phones as game pads. What's more, you can design your own game pad adding as many number of buttons as you want or even resize them.

Actually, there's a remote control editor that allows you to create your own custom remotes (there's a link to a video-tutorial in the app). Finally, it includes a remote file manager that allows browse PC and open files and apps on it. Last point: it lets you browse mp3 files on your PC and listen to them directly on your phone or tablet. And you know what's the best part? It really works.

The only catch is about design: it could be enhanced regarding graphics and scenery, specially for PC applications controls.

The app has developed quite a bit since the last time I had it installed. The remotes work great. I have a server on my PC and Raspberry Pi and the app connects cleanly and runs smooth. There is a fair amount of room for improvements though. Main thing
