Please note: even though apMemo can be installed on the SD card, this is not recommended, as it may cause some issues. The widgets in Android do not work in this case, and sometimes reminders may have problems due to the SD card not being available.
Required permissions:
"Modify/delete SD card contents" permission is needed to store notes on the SD card.
"Prevent phone from sleeping" permission is needed to let reminders work.
"Control vibrator" permission is needed to vibrate on reminders.
"Automatically start at boot" permission is required only to quickly restore the previously set reminders on reboot. The application does not stay running after that.

This would be one of the best note-taking applications on the Play Store if these simple functions were implemented, maybe mapped to a volume button... Or am I just not noticing them?

There are way too many restrictions on the free version to know if its worth upgrading to pro. To start, even half of the apps settings are restricted. You also cannot import photos in the free version. The final straw was the app saying in the settings t

The app is excellent, unpolished and yet functionally 5 stars. I think that the unscrolling page for sketches is simple and effective. Good job Dev.

Best app for notes with reminder specially if you have a stylus....simply the best i can have on my galaxy note...i must have downloaded 1000apps but this is my first review..

Tried so many of these note pads since I lost the HTC widgets on my new evo LTE that I loved on my old evo. This one is simple for everyday use, and best of all the others I tried.

Easy to use, would like two things, though. Needs to work all the way across the screen when in landscape, and...I want my eraser back!
