CalendarSync is an Android app which allows it to synchronize your appointments/calendar using CalDAV, FTP, HTTP, WebDAV, or plain ics files (stored on your device or e.g. mail attachments). There are also a lot of additional features available. All this can also be done !independent! from the Google services like the Google calendar. It also provides a lot of additional features. Syncing calendar with my owncloud installation. Had some problems at first. After mailing developer he made some improvements in no time, helping all the way through the setup process. Great support!!

I use this application to sync my Android calendar to my own DAViCal Server. One problem, related to events with different timezones in one calendar, was fixed within a few days. Everything else worked well from the start.

This application works very well... once you figure out how to use it. This app could greatly benefit from an interface overhaul to be more intuitive. Upon opening it, it suggests you read the manual. Do it. There is absolutely no way to figure out how to
