"Makeover Your Homescreen"

Reviewed by / Feb 26, 2015

Add a cool launcher widget to your phone

This app is actually a widget you can add to your home screen. It combines your favorite and more often used apps into one easy to laucher. For most apps, you can swipe out through the circle to instantly start the app. The CircleLauncher app also slightly animates each of your icons when you touch them.

This easy to use app makes your home screen unique and fun to use. It's adaptable to most apps and only takes one swipe to open.

This app can be hard to find once installed. It also can't be moved to the SD card.

Developer's original description available here
This widget will help you to start your prefered apps or call your best friends - but with style!

!NEW! moved swipe functions to new free app 'CircleLauncher Swipe'

You can add some frequently used apps, contacts or bookmarks to this launcher and start those apps, contacts or bookmarks with one click from a circle, a horizontal or a vertical line. Use the included launcher icons, load your own image or use a icon from any icon pack (CircleLauncher icon packs, ADW and Go Launcher icon packs supported). If you slide over the icons, they are animated a little bit mac-like ... just try it!

Parallax FX [beta]: look behind the widget like on iOS7! This effect can be enabled in the settings: 'More Settings' > 'More ...' > 'Parallax FX' - the result is highly dependent on the sensor in your phone ... some are perfect, other will not work very well. Looks best with '3D Image Live Wallpaper' :-)

Additional features in the full version:
- custom icons for the icon on the homescreen
- support for ADW icon packs for the icon on the homescreen
- vertical and horizontal launcher versions

Some icons in the screenshots are from 'CircleLauncher IconPack One', 'Minimal UI', 'Glasklart Go Nova Apex Theme', 'Circles Theme', 'Motif' and 'Rain' - the clock is 'lockscreen watch'.

Please don't move the app to the sd card - it won't work!

I love this app. But hate it too. How do you get back to settings for a circle???? I need to be able to add new apps to a circle.

This app had single handedly changed the whole look of my phone. I love how my screens are so clean, either with one word buttons, which opens a circle of my most used apps, or with hidden buttons that too open apps.

I like the app. Used it and even recommended it. However the last few updates have wiped it off my screens. On Note 2 with 4.4.2 using stock launcher. Not going through setup again. Goodbye Circle Launcher.

I've used CL for years (starting with HTC G2) and loved it! I had a brief hiccup recently with my Nexus 6 but developer promptly assisted me with troubleshooting. Turns out that a simple reboot goes a long ways. Who knew?!
