Do you have more logins or credentials than you can reliably keep track of, let alone remember?
Do you still have sticky notes lying around your desk or do you keep a secret text file on your computer full of sensitive information?
Are you ever away from you desk and wish you had jotted down that username or password?
Credenza Version 1.0
The initial release of Credenza includes the Welcome, Provisioning, Authentication, Preferences and Credenza activity screens with basic functionality including...
Welcome - A welcome message and instructions screen. The changelog for each release version is also displayed. Each new release will force a once-only display of the Welcome screen.
Provisioning - Upon first-run, a provisioning screen will collect user input such as Account Password and Account Password Hint.
Authentication - In order to access the personal/sensitive data stored within Credenza, users must authenticate using a valid password established during the Provisioning process. Additionally, after a configurable amount of time, users will be asked to re-authenticate; providing an extra level of security.
Preferences - The options set during the Provisioning process can be changed through the Preferences activity. There are additional options available for customization such as the authentication timeout and other account settings.
Credenza - The main Credenza activity will provide a means for the user to create, read, update and delete custom items which are displayed in a list format. These items are customizable, such as username/password pairs, account numbers and other credentials.
Import/Export - At any time, users can export the current database to their SD card. This database is securely encrypted with the current password and can be transported to another device or saved remotely. A previously exported database can be imported from the default location and can be used immediately as long as the same password is used.
Welcome and Provisioning - A welcome and provisioning wizard helps user through the first-run.
Authentication - Secured data behind a password login with idle timeout.
Preferences - Configurable user preferences.
Credenza - List view with individual add, edit and delete functionality.
Import/Export - Import/Export database any time.
