Dictadroid turns your Android phone or tablet into a professional, high-quality dictation machine and voice recorder. Use it to record voice dictations, notes, meetings, music, or any other audio and share it via Email, MMS, FTP, Box, Google Drive, or Dropbox.
Dictadroid is now available on tablets. When running on tablets, you get all the same features as the phone version plus a user interface that is specifically designed to take advantage of the large screen size.
Dictadroid is very simple to use and has many unique features, including:
- Pause/Resume while recording or playing
- Insert/Overwrite recording modes
- Automatic Voice Activity Detection
- Record/Play in the background or while screen is off
- Save audio files in WAV format
- Share via Email, MMS, FTP, Box, Google Drive, or Dropbox
- Use volume buttons to rewind/forward/record/play
- Assign new or existing photo to a recording
NOTE: Lite version support all features as the regular (Full) version, except:
- Recording is limited to 5 minutes
- There is no FTP, Box or Dropbox support

Just installed and LOVE it. Using to record ideas but also probably for grocery store, to do lists etc. Thank god and soft8 no ads!!!

We use the full version of dictadroid in tandem with express scribe from nch software and it is a match made in heaven! None of the hardware recorder nonsense and a streamlined process. Just need more flexibility in specifying fields in a filename and ema

The name "Dictadroid" implies that it will transcribe what you say (generally that is what dictate means). It does not do that. This is just a simple voice recorder.

Dictadroid has replaced my expensive Olympus digital recorder. It is both easier to use and better in sound quality. Very responsive customer support. Thanks, Boris. The only thing lacking when compared to the more expensive Apple product is voice act

The simplicity is insufficient for me, I prefer more control. I don't know anything about dictaphones, but I don't like how it saves the file immediately when you record additions.
