Diskovery allows you to browse and transfer files from your Mac to your Android over WiFi
Forget USB cables, drop Bluetooth gadgets. Diskovery provides a faster and easier way to browser and transfer files from your Android device to your Mac desktop (iMac, MacBook, etc.).
Download the app and set a username and password from the app. From then on, your mobile device will show up (with the name you've previously given to it) on your Mac's Finder > "Shared" devices as long as both are connected to the same WiFi network.
Start browsing and transferring files from your Android device to the Mac. It won't work the other way (from Mac to Android) unless you unlock "Write Support", which is a premium feature ($0.99).
The app is straightforward and works like a charm.
You can then browse and transfer your files, open your Photos, Documents, Music, Video or just any file you like.
You will have access to the Internal Memory and any SD Card connected to your device.
Write support to transfer create, delete, rename files and folders on your device storage is available through in-app purchase.
Please note this is only working with a Mac for now. Windows and Linux users, please be patient, we are working on a solution so you'll be able to enjoy Diskovery on your PC very soon.
How to use it:
✓ Be sure both of your phone/tablet are connected on the same WiFi network;
✓ Open Diskovery and setup a username and a password;
✓ On your Mac, open the Finder and click on your device on the left sidebar;
✓ Click "Connect As" and enter your username and password;
✓ You can now start to browser and transfer files over the WiFi!

I followed the instructions, can't see my phone in Finder. 10.9.1
Works the first time I tried it. Make sure you turn on the service from the app, set up username and password. Open Finder in Mac, click Shared, click Connect As, input username and password...voila..
Installed. Setup. Connection process never completes... just the spinner and "Connecting..." message.
