Document Scanner is an app that allows to scan something and save it as a pdf file. It also includes a few editing and cropping options, but its better feature is an option to upload your scans to the cloud via Google Docs, DropBox or Evernote.
The UI is quite clean and everything's very easy. In a nutshell, a fast, easy and efficient app that does what it should. There's a trial version out there with a seven day trial. Once you end your testing week, and if it meets your expectations, come here for the purchasable version.

I've been using Document Scanner now for a few years to scan travel receipts into PDF files. It's an excellent tool for turning paper into PDFs.
