Easy Backup is an application that allows you to easily backup all the data and restore apps, calls, calendar, contacts and all the other files found in your mobile device.
Just by launching the app, you will access to a menu where you'll be able to create a backup easily and restore anything you need. The app allows you to schedule automatic backups, email the contents and send the backup apps to services like Dropbox and Google Drive and also to the SD card.
If you root your device, you'll also be able to restore app's data and apps from the SD card.
Although the device is not very professional, the app works well and is really helpful for those who have important files in their devices and want them protected.

Your Sms, Mms, Call log, Calendar, Bookmarks, Dictionary and Contact data are stored in CSV, eml and VCF file format:

Contact --> VCF file format
Backup consists of those files that are inside a zip archive and you can easily read those files in your phone or computer!
If your phone has inbuilt storage, the default backup location will probably be the internal storage card and not the external. This is because the phone reports the storage that way.

Great apps for sms backup.
Don't know what happened. Backed up to SD card (whatever the default data was), hard reset now trying to restore. This is not simple, just a meaningless list of files and no explanation what to do. Good for geeks perhaps. Looks like my contacts are toast.
