Draw up customizable blueprints of your rooms and visualize possible changes
The Panama Canal wasn't built without a plan; your house can't be either. Marcin Lewandowski's Floor Plan Creator is a top-notch tool for visualizing what your architectural changes will look like before you knock out that wall.
A caveat up front: using this app on small mobile devices gets very crowded, very quickly - you wouldn't attempt to lay out a blueprint on a post-it, would you? If you've got access to a tablet, you'll get a heck of a lot more use out of the many features included in the app.
Make use of the predefined room shapes or draw your own with an S-pen (or your finger). Drag common furniture elements into place and adjust their size, either by dragging or by selecting numerical measurements.
It's simple to export your plans as images (or as an SVG file if you upgrade). The app will also synchronize across the cloud to automatically share your creations over all your devices.
The only points I'd really take off is for the aforementioned lack of real usability on smaller devices - I think that's the nature of the beast when it comes to design apps, however.
Marcin Lewandowski's Floor Plan Creator is exactly what you want when you're thinking about remodeling, whether on a big or small scale.
* Predefined room shapes as well as free drawing of a room shape with S-Pen or touch.
* Symbols: furniture, electrical, fire survey.
* Cloud synchronization to automatically share plans between devices.
* Export as image (free with watermark), DXF, SVG file (purchased).
* Supports metric and imperial unit systems.
If you see "Application not installed" error, please create launcher shortcut again or open application from applications drawer.
* Regression fixed.
* Door, window creation moved to the symbol toolbar.
* New door types: garage, double, sliding.
* It is easier to draw straight interior walls now.
* Bigger labels possible.
* Stability improvements.
Will update my rating after I really have chance to see what can do.
You can save your designed floor plan but the image is watermarked. Well you can use you designed floor plan for reference purposes but thats all. Im uninstalling. Sorry.
Just downloaded and paid for ad removals etc.(donated). Seems pretty good so far. Would be great if you could add curved walls, bay windows, and a tool to calculate room area (sq ft or meters) I work in the reno/rehab field and this is perfect for quic
Working with a complicated room - victorian windows and random walk-through spaces in the walls. Didn't suit me very well as every change made to one wall destroyed the others.
I'm no professional but I've designed two pretty decent basic plans with this app. It works well. The draw feature sometimes acts up. And they need a few more furnishing symbols such as counters, pantry, etc. You can't do these with the draw feature. Also
I knew nothing about cad or anything, but was able to do a pretty good planning for a new apartment with it :) Ps: perhaps a good new functionally would be to let people draw her own furnitures
