Grocery Helper - Lite allows you to design your own shopping list
It's time to forget paper and pencil. Shopping list can be smart, since they could be design and viewed from your smartphone. This is the purpose of Grocery Helper. A simple to generate shopping list to your liking.
First off, you have to select among all the categories, the items you want to buy. What's more, you have to select the unit (g, gallons, can, case, etc) as well as the quantity. You also can select the store where you're going to buy it. By default there are 4: Costco, Sams Club, Walmart and Whole Food. You cannot set the place if you don't want. Repeat this process with all the items you want to buy. In case there's no a category or a item in the default list, you can add it easily. Once it done, you have to "generate shopping list". You can create several shopping list, sorting them by issues, for instance. Finally, you can modify the list any time, even after generated.
The idea behind this app is really useful. The interface though, could be improved. It could be more visual, including photos as well as brand's names.

Some lists where this application appears: Reviewed by Emmanuel Lund.
I tried this app and immediately wanted the paid version with cloud sync. It's soo worth it!
One of the best features of Grocery Helper is the ability to create lists for several stores. I shop not only at a grocery store, but also at a department store, and a hardware store. To accommodate this, Grocery Helper allows you to create multiple lists. Problem: Grocery Helper does not allow you to add an item to your choice of lists. If I need lettuce, I would add it to the grocery list. Sock
A great checklist with lot of options to sort & group but it crashes on any click recently
This App is just what I was looking for. I don't know if it is me doing something wrong, but I would like to automatically create a shopping list by selecting items <=75%. What's happening at the moment is, I update the inventory list for each item to its current stock level and then have to select each item again manually to see if I need to buy them. Otherwise a great App and would be worthy
Was good until the latest update, now it quits working when you try to check off an item from your grocery list in the "group by store"option..please fix.....thanks for fixing! !!
No barcode scanning
