This is the free version of Handy Scanner which allows you to scan up to 20 documents with maximum 5 sheets per document. What's more, it supports just 3 camera shots in a row, the scan quality is lower, includes less effects, watermark and ads. The Pro version (1.99€) removes all that restrictions.
We've reviewed some scanner apps but we must say this is the jewel in the crown (so far). Handy Scanner is both easy to use and efficient. We're still amazed of its performance. So... how does it work? Simple: launch the app, select if you want to create a document by scanning it from the camera or by importing it from your gallery. The camera scanning works awesomely: no matters if you catch a slice of the table where the document lies, Handy Scanner will crop it automatically. If you don't agree with that cropping, you can adjust it at your whim. What's more, you can take as many following pictures as you want which is just perfect to scan articles or documents with several pages.
After scanning the document (no matter if you do it from the camera or the gallery), you can edit it with a few built-in effects: rotate, enhance color, grayscale, enhance contrast or even print-ready/economy. You can set the document name. If you scan lots of documents be sure that you'll name it in a way that allows you to find it fast from the search bar that Handy Scanner includes. Actually, when you launch the app you see the documents you've already scanned. You can mark some of them as a favorite and you'll find them on "Starred" tab. Finally, you can export the document to PDF or JPEG and send it by using the sharing resources installed in your device.
Handy Scanner is one the most efficient scanner app for Android. Halfmobile, its developer, has done a great job with it. We hope they'll keep that mood up. Must-have.
Then, just share them to GMail, Dropbox or any other application. Better yet, use instant uploading to Dropbox! Produces both PDF and JPEG images!

A few people have complained about the free version in that you're only able to save 3 documents and that's it. I just email them to my email address and delete the documents off of my tablet. This thing works great and replaces the cost of purchasing a
