The Pro version removes ads and all the scanning restrictions of the free version (maximum 20 documents with 5 sheets, effects, shots in a row, watermark, etc.).
We've reviewed some scanner apps but we must say this is the jewel in the crown (so far). Handy Scanner is both easy to use and efficient. We're still amazed of its performance. So... how does it work? Simple: launch the app, select if you want to create a document by scanning it from the camera or by importing it from your gallery. The camera scanning works awesomely: no matters if you catch a slice of the table where the document lies, Handy Scanner will crop it automatically. If you don't agree with that cropping, you can adjust it at your whim. What's more, you can take as many following pictures as you want which is just perfect to scan articles or documents with several pages.
After scanning the document (no matter if you do it from the camera or the gallery), you can edit it with a few built-in effects: rotate, enhance color, grayscale, enhance contrast or even print-ready/economy. You can set the document name. If you scan lots of documents be sure that you'll name it in a way that allows you to find it fast from the search bar that Handy Scanner includes. Actually, when you launch the app you see the documents you've already scanned. You can mark some of them as a favorite and you'll find them on "Starred" tab. Finally, you can export the document to PDF or JPEG and send it by using the sharing resources installed in your device.
Handy Scanner is one the most efficient scanner app for Android. Halfmobile, its developer, has done a great job with it. We hope they'll keep that mood up. Must-have.

I bought the Pro version a while back because I liked the app a lot. Recent camera updates have ruined this application though, to the point where I no longer use the app. It stretches the images wide and defeats the purpose of scanning papers. You have t

Lots of room for improvement. Cannot export multiple docs together, it takes many steps to export one-by-one. Export's filenames are some random hash rather than the title you've given the scan in app.

Purchased this app and it was working fine. Now I am not able to reinstall it after the factory reset on my galaxy s3. There is an error code "Unknonw error code during application installation: "-24". Anyone can help?

Not perfect. When you share your freshly made pdf to Google Drive it never uploads on the first attempt. It will on the second attempt though. Annoying, and that's why I burned one of your stars. 4/5.
