This is a three-in-one notification widget: it includes missed calls count, unread SMS count and unread GMail discussions count.
You can configure the display (font size, text background, text position, icon, including picking a custom image) and you can also configure the behavior (select an app to launch).
This package includes a default configuration for each widget for an easy start. Long tap on the widget to configure it and select its type between call, sms or gmail.

Recently changed in this version:
Add the READ_CALL_LOG permission which is needed to get the number of missed phone calls. This fixes the problem of unavailable missed call count.

It does what it's supposed to do BUT there are a few little problems. (A) the number is placed WITHIN the icon space and NOT within the entire tile space, so you cannot REALLY adjust the position to e.g. bottom right :ß (B) It would be nice to have a f

Great add-on. 5 stars if missed calls displayed 0 when you select show even when zero. And if it disappeared when you select for it to not sh9w when zero. Just an empty box.

When more than one widget is active, the user-defined options on any second or more widget(s) do not stick. Adding google voice count and custom color options would be a robust improvement. The rest of the LL suite is replete with customization options th

Works as intended. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because you can add your own text. For example: 1 Missed Call(s), etc. Otherwise this is a very big welcome to my LLW setup. LG Thrill Android 2.3.4.
