Use your camera as a scanner may be obvious, but not all applications work just as well for it. Scan to PDF is easy to scan and has several interesting editing and enhancement options.
Scan it, crop it if needed (pulling the edges) and process the resulting image accordingly. Scan to PDF allows scans of every size up to A3, saving your brand new pdf files in your SD card before choosing whether upload them to Google Docs or not. The fast built-in gallery viewer will be useful once you have a lot of PDFs.
The best part? It's absolutely free, no ads. There's a donate version if you want to encourage its developers.

ScanToPDF and mail lets you scan (or import) documents using your phone's camera. Scanned documents are converted into a PDF. PDF files are stored on SD card and can be shared or uploaded to Google doc.

I used this app for scanning a photo and signature...I was searching an app that fits in less than 4 MB and produces good result....and here it is..

Don't try to scan directly from the camera. But if you select a galery photo you get a very nice PDF result in a very short time.
