"Give a personal touch to your photos"

Skitch lets you write and draw on your pictures

Sometimes photos are too sober and what they need is a personal touch. Here you are Skitch, an app that lets you draw and write whatever you want in your pictures.

You can take a picture from the app or choose one from the gallery. After that, use you imagination to make original creations. From the "editor" menu you can choose color, pen and its stroke, insert text or draw a frame. You can undo, upload it to Evernote or share it by other means.

The app is quite simple but works properly. Actually its simplicity is its plus point: it's meant to do only that stuff, if you want something professional this is not your app. Screentouch response is great as well as the quality of the drawings. Evernote's team reliability. Recomended.

Developer's original description available here
See something that sparks an idea? Use Skitch to snap it, mark it up with simple tools, and send it on in an instant. Your bold ideas stand out even brighter with Skitch.

People everywhere use Skitch to help them visually share their thoughts with others. Here are a few ways you can use it, too:

Mark up photos of silly, cool, or inspiring things you see and share them via social, email, SMS, and more.

Annotate photos of your backyard to plan out your vegetable garden.

Share a diagram of the earth’s layers and have students label it with you.

Capture a map, mark it up, and share it with your friends to show them where you'll be.

Open a PDF and highlight changes to skip the lengthy, confusing email chains and give clear feedback. Or annotate a screenshot to communicate a change.

PDF Markup requires either an in app purchase or an Evernote Premium account.

Skitch uses the contacts permissions in order to populate the email field when sending a PDF. This permission lets Skitch use your local address book so you can easily send an email by simply typing someone's name.

Pretty good. I just wish I could have the option to adjust the colors, like make the green darker and what not.

If you're trying to use Evernote for free (low or reasonable data storage) this app will undermine your efforts. Because it is storing images, and not just text, it is inherently a big data user. But... amazingly!!... EVERY TIME you make an edit to a Skitch document and save it, it will count as an entirely NEW (and fat) little document. I deleted it a while back... even though I paid for it!
