Record notes after an important call
Tote Notes is an organizing application that allows the user to record personal notes after an important call. This is especially design for those busy people who are always making phone calls and don't have time to write down all the important things.
When you download the app, you'll have to add your mail (the notes will be sent there), the time of recording and select if you want to enable Tote Notes after all calls or only during working hours. It uses Google Voice to transcribe into text and it's really easy to use: You just need to tap YES after the app asks you if you would like to record a note and then say what you need. Finally, you can send it via mail and you'll receive a message with the audio file, the notes transcribed and the name and phone number of the person you were talking to.
In addition, if you need to take notes without a phone call, you can also record them freely. This is an extremely helpful tool but the problem is of course, the transcription, which can't always be right; the audio file should be more reliable instead.
Tote Notes Pro is a paid version that lets you record up until 2 minutes of notes and lets you add another mail address. Mercury Mobile LLC is the developer of this useful tool appropriate for business people who would like to take notes all day long.
Tote Notes Pro adds several important features, including the ability to record up to 2 minutes per individual Tote Note. The Pro version also allows for a second destination email address, so you can “cc” an assistant or secondary email address devoted exclusively to Tote Notes email.
Tote Notes is designed for people who make frequent calls on their mobile devices and are frequently on the road or unable to make call notes as they speak, such as sales people, executives, and consultants. Transcription for Tote Notes is powered by Google Voice.
How to Use
At the end of a phone call, a user is asked, “Would you like to record a Tote Note?” Tap YES to record, make a few verbal notes to yourself about the call, and then tap SEND. A Tote Note is sent directly to your email inbox, which contains an MP3 audio attachment of your voice notes and your notes transcribed to text within the email body. The email subject contains the name and phone number of the person with whom the user spoke.
Users can sort, filter, and store Tote Notes emails within any email inbox, including MS Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and more. Unfortunately, Tote Notes does not currently support Facebook Messenger at this time.
Tote Notes sets up in just a few seconds. At initial startup, users are led through a quick setup guide, where they are prompted for destination email address and timer settings. Other settings can be adjusted within PREFERENCES.
For corporate users, an API is available to integrate with CRM software. Contact Mercury Mobile for more information.

Transcription is a helpful tool, but users are encouraged to also rely upon the audio recording feature of Tote Notes in some circumstances.
Accuracy of individual Tote Notes transcription will vary with respect to factors such as background noise, the rate of speaking, and more. Under proper conditions, accuracy rates can approach 100%. However, in some cases the results will be less accurate.
