Ultimate Backup PRO isn't just a backupping app but a comprehensive app manager
There are already most-known names for back-up apps. Ultimate Backup maybe isn't one of them, however, it comes with all the main features from other apps that you maybe have heard about. Let's focus on that features.
First off, as its name suggests, Ultimate Backups has some great features for backup and restore your apps and other relevant data. It allows to backup and restore apps one-by-one or by batches. There's an option for automatically backup apps when they got installed and the opposite too. Backup files can be shared by e-mail or be located on Dropbox as well as other cloud-storage services.
Likewise, UB allows users to manage processes on their devices. There's a built-in task killer that allow to end processes (all of them or by batches) and make ignore list for task killer. What's more, it shows data about your memory usage.
Actually, Ultimate Backup is a apps manager: it allows you to uninstall apps by batches (really useful if you use to install lots of apps) and even schedule uninstall (this requires root permissions). In fact, there are lots of specific features for rooted devices: force close apps, zipalign all apks, clean up dalvik-cache, fix permissions on all apps, etc.
You can freeze apps, apply filters and sort by. Pro version comes with some other interesting features like Backup/restore app data and Market links, Freeze/Defrost system and user apps, Market Doctor (link any app to the market, and Break market links. These features also requires root.
Ultimate Backup includes lots of features for comprehensively manage your apps. The only catch: UI should be enhanced on usability and layout. Despite of this, great app.

I've used every back up app available and always stuck with TiBu but since I rooted and ROM'd my Moto X it hasn't restored properly and this app does it flawlessly and faster than any others I've used.
Do not backup app data. Such backup totally is useless.
This program works well but it will not do backup/restore operations from a cloud server (like Google Drive) unless your phone is Rooted. I submitted a refund request and will update this post if I ever get it.
I was looking for a way to backup my apks to drive and this does exactly that. Thank you
But now it always crashes on my new SGN3. Uninstall
Installed 'free' version 1st. App looked promising so I paid for the full version cause some options weren't available on 'free version. Then it says device needed to be 'rooted'. According to other apps that check to see if you're device is rooted, I'm told my tablet is rooted, but still will not allow me to perform many functions cause it still says device is not rooted. By the time I found this
I have used this since I can remember first getting an android and love it! By far best app to backup apps out there.
