Wifi Scheduler is a simple but very useful app which will allow you to
manage and schedule when your devices Wi-Fi will turn on and off. It
is very useful for saving battery life by scheduling Wi-Fi to turn off
when you know you won't be using it, like when you're at work or
asleep for example. It is compatible from OS versions 1.6 all the way
up to honeycomb and it scales up to extra large tablet screens very
nicely!

don't listen to the bad reviews on gui. This app aint the prettiest but who cares! It is low in resources and works PERFECTLY for me!

I used to leave my wifi on because it's too much hassle turning it on and off. This drained my battery bc it was constantly scanning for networks or asking me if I wanted to connect. I didn't want to access the wifi from my work, for privacy reasons. With
