The Geo-Institute (G-I) of the ASCE is a membership organization focused on the geo–profession. There are 11,000 individual and 60 Organizational members. Members include scientists, engineers, technologists, geotechnical engineering students and organizations interested in improving the environment, mitigating natural hazards, and economically constructing engineered facilities.
The 2012 Geo-Congress planned for March 25-29, 2012 in Oakland, California will bring together over 1000 geo-professionals in a focused broad-based conference covering all aspects of the geo-industry. Conference features include:
