Connect wirelessly to your Calibre e-book library or other Stanza source. Browse and download your e-books on the go.

**NOTE: As of newer versions of Android OS, applications can no longer write outside their normal directory space. Calibre Library is no exception to that rule. Books will be stored within it's own directory, and you can automatically launch the book from inside the app causing FBReader or your favorite reader to open the book automatically without you even needing to know where it is! This is a good thing in one respect - it allows Android to clean up your device after you remove applications, because all data from that app will be in it's own folder. This DOES mean that it will not work with Amazon's eBook reader, because their reader has no ability to open based on MIME type.

Pair with Nook, FBReader or another e-book reading application for a complete solution. This is not an e-book reader app.

If your Calibre server is visible on the Internet, you can even use your phone's data plan to download books. If your phone has wireless, you can download books from within your own lan regardless.

Please note - this will only display formats offered by Calibre's OPDS interface, which does not appear to include .lit files.

Recently changed in this version

Extended connect timeout for slow Calibre databases

Added MIME type override for ePubs to the downloaded notification to trigger opening them in the proper application easier.

*NOTE: In KitKat / Lollipop you can no longer specify where documents are downloaded to. In your reader application you should be able to add the private download folder shown in the CalibreLibrary preferences as a location for scanning for books.

Not sure what use this app has...doesn't open or associate with any eBook format...All it does is download useless manuals and titles. Piece of crap.

This used to be a really good app but the recent updates for Android 5 have broken it as you can no longer specify the download folder and it puts the books in the wrong place for the Kindle reader. A real shame!

WAS a great app for calibre users. I can no longer specify the download directory. I used to use it to download .mobi files to my kindle app's directory. I can no longer do so.

I can no longer specify the books directory either on Android 4.4 or 5. A My Moon Reader points to my original directory with all my filles i in it, s I've loads of books downloaded onto a specified directory in main memory (not sd card), this app is now totally useless.

Don't be put off by the one-star ratings. They seem to all be by people who too lazy to read the app description and thus thought app would do things it was never meant to do. Sad that these people ding the app for their own laziness. It does what it is designed to do perfectly well.

Great when it worked, but continuous syncing issues pushed me to try moon readers Calibre function (which is working flawlessly), haven't used the Calibre Library app since.
