Celestial Atlas

This application browses through scans of the Celestial Atlas of the Northern Hemisphere by Alexander Jamieson, published by G. & W.B. Whittaker, London in February 1822. The color charts refer to epoch 1820 and are 23 x 29 cm in original printed size.

The large size of the application is due to the large scans, in turn providing high quality images. The application can be moved to external cards and operated in both portrait and landscape modes while the charts are best viewed on tablets.

The application prompts INTERNET permission because it uses a webview for chart display but does NOT connect to the internet and is free-of-ads.
