    If you can't scroll down, install the free King James Version from Google Play which is updated to support KitKat (the Amazon version isn't). Then, open the KJV. Then select your NIV version from within that app. You will be able to scroll then. I think this is a KitKat problem as it only happened to me when I installed KitKat on my Moto X. Great app.
