For Arabic learners:
• the marking of short vowels in the Arabic to English section as well as both long and short vowels in the English to Arabic section lets users know exactly how to pronounce an Arabic word.
• part of speech (noun, verb, adjective etc.) labels for all Arabic headwords.
• irregular plural forms of nouns are specially marked.
• a grammar section explains how to conjugate verbs in Arabic and say the numbers.

--Search features--
• search all headwords, phrases and examples in the entire dictionary simultaneously in the main search page.
Many phrases such as "tell a lie", "missed the train", "أَدّى صَلاة الصُبْح في المَسْجِد" and "الساعَة الخامِسَة وَالرُبْع" cannot be searched for in conventional dictionary apps as the search word is only looked up in the list of headwords in the dictionary, not in the phrases or example sentences. In our dictionary app, no matter where the search phrase appears in the dictionary, if it`s in the dictionary, you`ll find it!

--Arabic Font and Keyboard--
Our app includes an Arabic font and automatically connects Arabic letters together. You will, however, need to install an Arabic keyboard if one is not already installed on your phone. The following Arabic keyboards can be downloaded from the Android App Store and work well with this app:

--Vocab Revision--
• history menu lists all your recent word searches.
• save words and expressions to any number of flashcard folders.
• mark words in your flashcard folder which you still need to memorize.

قاموس أكسفورد عربي-إنجليزي • يحتوي على 16,000 كلمة، وعبارات، وترجمة • قسم قواعد اللغة الإنجليزية خاص بتصريف أفعال اللغة العربية والإنجليزية • بحث كافة الكلمات الرئيسية، والعبارات، وأمثلة في القاموس في وقت واحد • الاستماع إلى نطق أي كلمة أو عبارة باللغة الإنجليزية.

متعلمي اللغة الإنجليزية:

•قسم عن كيفية نطق الأرقام باللغة الإنجليزية.

--خصائص البحث—
•إمكانية البحث عن كافة الكلمات الرئيسية، والعبارات في وقت واحد في صفحة البحث الرئيسية.
كما أن العديد من العبارات مثل "tell a lie"، و"missed the train"، و أَدّى صَلاة الصُبْح في المَسْجِد"، و"الساعَة الخامِسَة وَالرُبْع" لا يمكن البحث عنها في تطبيقات القواميس العادية حيث يتم البحث فقط في قائمة الكلمات الرئيسية في القاموس، وكذلك جمل العبارات، والأمثلة. أما في تطبيق هذا القاموس، فلا يهم مكان عبارة البحث في القاموس، فإذا كانت الكلمة موجودة في أي مكان في القاموس، فسوف تجدها!
