A program to keep watch on applications in the market so you'll know when they go on sale or when they are updated. (Great for when you don't have the app installed, but still want to know when it's updated.)
AppWatch provides notifications for:
* Sales
* Updates
Simply add the app to AppWatch and forget it! AppWatch will check the market at the interval you set, in the background, and send you notification when something changes.
Examples:
Waiting for an app to support your device? Instead of continuously checking the market for updates, let AppWatch do it for you!
Have your eye on an app but waiting for new features before you install it? (Since it's not installed, you have to keep checking the market yourself.) Now let AppWatch do it for you!
Do you check the market every day hoping that app went on sale? (Then end up forgetting..) Don’t miss a potential sale, just let AppWatch do it for you!
Already finished a game and uninstalled it, but the author promises new levels? Now you don't have to keep checking for updates, AppWatch will do it for you!

* Checks the market in the background, at the time and interval you set

* For security, asks for permission instead of requiring Google Play username & password

Missing apps when searching:
As noted below, this app uses the Open Source Market API library as Google does not have a method for searching the market. I don't know why, but sometimes when searching, all the apps that should match are not returned from the market. If you can't find an app that should exist, go search in the market app and use the "share" option to send it to AppWatch. Google has complete control; I don't.
Note on permissions:
The permissions are based on the Open Source Market API library for Google Play. The Google Service READ permission is used rather than asking the user for their Google Play account and password.

The only thing to make this a better app would be to sync what apps it's watching over all my devices.

I LOVE this app. Whenever I find a paid app that I'd like to download I add it to my list. This app has saved me quite a bit of money since I began using it.

Except for the 50-50 split on my N7's screen resulting in loads of wasted space, this is a fine app for keeping up with my favorite apps. Custom grouping of apps into separate tabs would be nice, and allowing for updates in only those tabs would be boss.

Not a bad app, but it's hard to delete apps (delete button shows for a fraction of a second then disappears. Prices don't match up with the Play Store.
