Version 2 takes advantage of the latest features in Android 3 and 4. Making for a much faster and cleaner experience than ever before!
Argos Buddy is not like the official app. It has no access to the "Argos special server", and so has some limitations (such as with the trolley). However, it makes up for it in various other ways. Argos Buddy has no "odd" permissions; just Internet, Argos Buddy has no "bling", no over the top graphics and colours that get in the way and make things hard to navigate. Argos Buddy complies with Google's design guidelines, and is very lightweight, making it easy to use. If you can use Android, then you already know how to use Argos Buddy.
It just gets the job done without fuss. Just plain functional. Like all apps should be, it's a tool to do a job. It does it and gets out of your way, letting you focus on what's important. No messing around, no getting in your way.
Tablet users are going to love the layout they get. Search results on the left, detailed item description on the right. Quick, effective, simple.

Argos Buddy was hastily written a long time ago, without much care to quality, if I'm honest. It's by no means my best work, and to be honest, it did crash a lot on older devices. At the time, there was no 'official' app, and once one was released, I pretty much ceased development completely. That's all changed with version 2, and if you didn't like the first version, I do ask you give Argos Buddy another chance to impress you! You may be pleasantly surprised.

* Automatically check for stock in your local store
* Automatically check for stock in home delivery
* Look up full item information with review scores
* Add items to trolley for in store pickup or home delivery purchase
* Automatically fill in your details for reservations, making it much easier and quicker to reserve stock
Please note that Argos and the Home Retail Group have *nothing* to do with this app. Please don't complain to them if things don't work. I've done this on my own accord.

Rewritten from the ground up for version 2.
Much faster, more robust, and works great with the new Argos website that launched on the 16th of October.

This app is pretty much just a face on the argos website ezcept it doesn't find all results! You'd be much better by getting the official Argos app!

Brilliant for browsing!
Actually gives u more info than the catalogue and tells u the recent sale prices too. Also alot lighter than loojing thru the catalogue! Love it!!!
