This looks like a good app, but unfortunately does not support devices with front cameras.

After looking at a huge number of free barcode reader in the market, this was the first that doesn't require you to surrender all privacy to scan a bar code. Just taking pics and internet for ads that's ok for me. Thumbs up for not being data hog like the
