LivingSocial pushes deals on restaurants, spas, gyms, vacations and more directly to your phone

LivingSocial helps you kill the boredom by pushing deals for a wide range of social activities. There are lots of restaurants' menu deals (we love eating!) but that's not, in no way, the only kind of deals you will find in this app.

Extremely cheap massages, limousine rides, trips and lodging... You name it. Select your location (only available in UK, US, Austria, Canada, Ireland, Malaysia and New Zealanda so far). Select the category (today's deals, escapes, fun &events, shops) and let the deals come to you.

Besides deals from external providers, LivingSocial organizes their own Live Events (Beerfest, Sushi & Sumo,...) you can join when they're pushed.

Finally, you can use virtual voucher from your Android app to trade your deals. Printing you said? Not anymore.

LivingSocial's UI is polished and neat. It's focuses on showing the product offered with large thumbnails and detailed descriptions. Searching is quick and any deals found can easily be shared.

The app used to be beautifully laid out. I don't know why, but now for me, it takes me to the mobile site as soon as I click buy now. Everything after that is a cumbersome and slow process that forces me to give up and just go to my computer to complete it. Not before I have to wait 30 minutes because the purchase didn't go through till the end (the apps fault) this app is broken, can't purchase a

Look out for product vouchers on Living Social. I thought I bought some Bluetooth speakers, twice. When I buy something on Groupon, they ship it to me. Apparently, when you buy something on Linkedin, it's a voucher that one has to redeem, shipping not included. Now, after it expired, I get an email asking me if I have redeemed the voucher and to fill out some survey. I feel deceived. There is fine

24 hours is not enough time to decide whether you want to do something or not. Also, your money is your money! If you end up not being able to use a voucher - it should at least be given back to you as credit. Not just a lingering unused expired reminder that you can't use.
