The PayPal inStore app is the new cashless, cardless way to pay on the high street using your mobile phone. It’s the smarter, safer, simple way to pay. The app links to your existing PayPal account and you’ll get a unique one-time barcode each time you want to make a payment. The shop assistant will simply scan the barcode or type in the unique 10-digit code. Your PayPal account will be charged and you'll receive an instant electronic receipt.
WHERE CAN I USE PAYPAL INSTORE?
You can use the PayPal inStore app to shop with your mobile at M&Co, Snow+Rock, SOLETRADER, SOLE, Oasis, Warehouse, Coast, Karen Millen and Thomas Pink stores nationwide and there’ll be many more retailers coming soon.

Installed to my galaxy s4 and worked the first time I logged in after that crashed every time I opened it dient even get past the main screen had to uninstall

There is a pre approved amount if £2000 that can't be lowered. Must be some security implications if phone is unsecured and using a weak PayPal pin. Won't use app until max amount can be configured. Also, clicking the security link on the web page about

Won't install on either a Nexus 7 or a One X both running JB just get "not compatible with your device"

Like any new service the number of vendors that support this payment method is very limited. I'm sure it'll improve though. App works well but could do with NFC support.

no use yet, not in swansea area ..... early days for something better perhaps?
