Blendr is a popular online dating app formerly known as Badoo. Create a profile including pictures of you, your interests as selected from a list, and your vital stats (height/weight, if you have kids, if you smoke, etc), then browse the profiles of other users to find folks you like. Connect with them by ranking them, "liking" and favoriting them, or just starting a chat.
I've used online dating services quite a bit myself, and I've got to report that Blendr is one of the worst ones out there. No, it's not Grindr for straight people. It's not even Tinder, which doesn't beat its simplicity around the bush. Instead, Blendr is designed to get you to interact with the app absolutely as much as possible - note that I said "interact with the app," not other users.
You'll be required to perform zillions of menial micro-tasks in your attempt to smoothly browse profiles ("oh, you want to see a third photo of that user? first, put up a third photo of yourself"). That you can only choose interests from pre-generated lists reduces everyone into a profile photo and a list of tags of things they "like" (think "Honest Friends," "Laughing," "Red Bull & Vodka," etc). Honestly, it feels more like the app is encouraging you to give up loads of personal information not for the purpose of dating but rather as an invasion of privacy.
I strongly dislike Blendr. However: 180 million users think I'm wrong. Who knows, you could get lucky - and perhaps you'll find the ADHD style of dating to be charming.
