CanWeNetwork helps you connect with people that match your profile and interests on LinkedIN

Currently, most successful social networks are friends/leisure-related. However, a social network can be much more than a place to share where you are or what you did. It can be also business-oriented. Actually, LinkedIN is set from that approach. CanWeNetwork is a tool that helps you connect with people that share profession or interests with you.

Actually, there are five parameters that determines the matching: social, proximity, composite, skills, biomatch. This way, you can find some users that perhaps don't share all your interests, however, their profession is related to yours or they're settled nearby. There's always a minimum matching in more than one parameters.

Indeed, what really makes the difference is the way these matches are displayed: your avatar is in the middle of the screen as if you were a central node, and some nodes are connected to you (network-style). You just need to tap on that nodes to see who's the one who's matching you with the given percentage of affinity. Check out their profile and connect with them if you want to.

Plus point of CanWeNetwork lies on its new parameters to connect with people, at least, different parameters than the ones LinkedIN uses. Usefulness.

This is a nice idea but the algorithm needs a little more weighting to find more relevant matches. Over the past few weeks I have tried this and even up to 78% matches leave me wondering why it was so high. I would have thought proximity, industry and ski

Like the concept. The matching is decent. Needs more users. Had trouble with the linkedin login at first but that seems to have gone away. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.
